More on the Di Vinci Code

After reading the book I will confess that for the sake of a good read Dan Brown made up some stuff to keep us on our toes. He did however raise a lot of questions about Jesus and Mary Magdalene and the origins of the Catholic Church and religion in general. I have also purchased a couple of books (by religious authors) debunking his book. I found it interesting that they are small in size and not too convincing when you think about it.
Just like the gigantic cover up of the assassination of Kennedy and the shooter in the book depository or maybe the grassy knoll, We will never know the truth.
This to me is bigger than Kennedy. It hits at the root of religion and it's beliefs. Something the Catholic Church (all churches for that matter) don't want revealed. Would it destroy them? Perhaps not, but it would certainly cripple them in ways we cannot imagine. What if it really is matriarchal and not patriarchal? The consequences would be staggering.
Will the truth ever be known? Maybe someday, maybe never. Then maybe only a few will know the real truth. Do you?

Doesn't it really bother you?

When you want to pay a bill over the phone and the person on the other end continuously talks even when you are trying to say something? It does me. Common sense says that when someone is talking, they are not listening. I am really convinced that it takes a *type* of person to be a bill collector. Personally I don't think I have ever met one and I don't think I would like to even casually. I'll bet that most of them are abrasive, pushy and manipulative and just not the kind of person most of us want as friends. Unless of course you are some sort of masochist or a glutton for punishment or just plain stupid.

Having dealt with people for 31 years I tend to get very aggressive with these types and push their buttons (you know, good cop bad cop?) until they come unglued and snap. Then I demand to talk to their supervisor (not before I get the idiots name first, of course) then I lay into the supervisor about how discourteous the person was and nasty they were.

Not surprisingly you get responses like *he/she was only doing his/her job* Yeah right. And I'm the president of the United States. Perhaps we should not do business with people like this and take our business elsewhere. Then when they get laid off they will know. By then it is too late. Serves them right. I say, Hit them where it hurts, in the Pocketbook. Take your business elsewhere. Remember, they NEED US, we DON'T NEED THEM. Maybe just maybe they will get the hint that they should treat their customers better. Some never learn. Those that don't deserve to go out of business. Ain't that the Truth?

Another sad day for the American people.
Today on on Road Runner CNN Video headlines they posted videos and pictures from the Washington Post. More stuff on the Abu Grieb prison abuse. The government says they are not going to release them to the public. Who are they kidding? If it is in the Washington Post then it is released. What are you guys thinking? Like Duh?
They show them dragging someone across the floor and undressing others and positioning them in suggestive poses. In one picture we see someone standing with brown stuff all over his body. Dirt? I think not. More like Feces if you ask me. No wonder the Muslims are mad as hell. I don't blame them. I am too and so shouldn't you. I sincerely hope that our government doesn't just slap them on the wrist but severely punish the culprits as the law allows.
Come November I don't want to see Asscroft or Rumproast or Shrub in office. Why in the world they could let this happen is mind boggling. Why there wasn't any supervision at the prison or why things were allowed to progress as far as it did is unimaginable.
My suggestion is that the american public should start screaming bloody murder to our elected officials and demand that they punish those responsible and fire those who should have been responsible for supervising the prisons.
This is totally unacceptable and those in charge should be held accountable. They should not be allowed to get away scott free.

Just got through reading The Da Vinci Code. It starts off slow and then picks up speed to where you don't want to put the book down. It is also packed with all kinds of historical information. I even went out and purchased a copy of a art book on the famous painting by Da Vinci. I also picked up about ten other books on other related subjects such as the Templers, Mary Magdaline etc. It sure raises questions about the origins of the Bible and perhaps how it was put together and what was possibly edited out to make it conform to the church's teachings we all take for granted.
Long before the book came out I had read the Pistis Sophia, the Dead Sea scrolls, books on the Illuminati and the Templers not to mention various forgotten books of the Bible. Many of the things mentioned in the book are familiar to me. Being a High Priest in the Old Religion and a follower of the Druidic tradition helps. Just as the Church had tried to obliterate The Wiccan religion and the Burning Times it does not surprise me that they probably have also tried to obliterate any mention of Mary Magdaline and her relationship to Jesus. Texts and books have been destroyed from the beginning of time by revisionists in order to change history to fit their twisted vision of reality.
Take it for what it is worth, a good read or a book that raises many questions concerning what we believe. Either way it is worth it. As Mulder said in the X Files "The truth is out there."
