Can you believe this? I'm getting dumped by my Insurance Company
I own two properties, one with a major policy and the other the rental covered by a separate policy. The last two tenants were evicted for non-payment of rent and other reasons. In the process they trashed the place. Now I am rehabbing the place and I have someone staying there to make sure it isn't broken into in the process. Now get this, I've been paying on this insurance for years and years Now I finally make a claim and I get a letter saying they want to cancel the policy. Can you believe it? They claim the property is vacant. NO IT IS NOT How dare they make this assumption.
I ask you, how are you going to get tenants in a property that is trashed? Common sense says that you have to get it back in shape. What are these idiots thinking? Explain that one to me. It really corks me that they have the gall to treat their customers like dirt. So here I am ranting on about the shitty service I'm getting. Well here is the name of the company if you are interested. Just one Caveat. Deal with these people at your own risk.
Secura Insurance Company, P. O. Box 819, Appleton Wisconsin 54912
Just like car insurance, the greedy bastards want your money but when it comes time for them to pay up they cancel your policy or if they don't they raise the premium substantially. Is that any way to treat your customers? I think not.
If you guys are reading this You aren't doing us a favor by giving us coverage, we're doing you a favor by giving you our business. We don't need you, you need us. We can take our business elsewhere, and we will. Perhaps if enough of us take our business elsewghere and hit you in the pocketbook, where it hurts. Maybe just maybe you will see the light and treat is properly. Of course if you don't perhaps you should go out of business. I'm sure there will be others more than willing to take your place.
If you feel you have been treated unjustly complain to your state Insurance Commissioner and the Attorney General's office division of consumer protection and the Federal trade commission. Make them squirm and answer to their peers.
Serves them right, don't you think?
Sick and tired of greedy companies
Ain't that the truth?
