More on the Di Vinci Code
After reading the book I will confess that for the sake of a good read Dan Brown made up some stuff to keep us on our toes. He did however raise a lot of questions about Jesus and Mary Magdalene and the origins of the Catholic Church and religion in general. I have also purchased a couple of books (by religious authors) debunking his book. I found it interesting that they are small in size and not too convincing when you think about it.
Just like the gigantic cover up of the assassination of Kennedy and the shooter in the book depository or maybe the grassy knoll, We will never know the truth.
This to me is bigger than Kennedy. It hits at the root of religion and it's beliefs. Something the Catholic Church (all churches for that matter) don't want revealed. Would it destroy them? Perhaps not, but it would certainly cripple them in ways we cannot imagine. What if it really is matriarchal and not patriarchal? The consequences would be staggering.
Will the truth ever be known? Maybe someday, maybe never. Then maybe only a few will know the real truth. Do you?
